A warm Yorkshire welcome is offered to you at Green Grove Country House bed and breakfast, formerly part of the Coniston Cold Estate, this 160 year old cottage is built of Yorkshire Stone and is nestled in the beautiful Dales.Our guests can enjoy accommodation all year round, in three very comfortable en-suite twin or double bedrooms. Each room has views of the countryside and garden, with generous sized beds, full central heating and total privacy.There is also a quiet and relaxing sitting room with a wood burning fire and plenty of books to read . Wireless Internet access is also freely available to all our guests.Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am, earlier or later breakfast can be arranged by prior agreement. Both continental and full English breakfasts are available and if you have any special dietary requirements, we will be happy to cater for your needs. All meat is locally sourced from Moorhouse farmers via Steve Moorhouse Butchers Hellifield. Breakfast can be served in the charismatic breakfast room, or on your patio (weather permitting).The rooms have vaulted ceilings with exposed oak trusses, a door opening out onto a private patio with outstanding views over the surrounding unspoilt countryside.Green Grove is located in the old hamlet of Bell Busk, in Malhamdale alongside the River Aire, bordering The Yorkshire Dales National Park and overlooking the Settle Carlisle Railway. The area is reknowned for some of the best walking in Great Britain and a leaflet is available from the owners with details of the various local walks although it is advisable to obtain an ordnance survey map showing the actual routes.Bell Busk is surrounded by interesting and delightful places to visit. The bustling market town of Settle is 10 miles away with shops, pubs, cafes and the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre.Coniston Cold is within walking distance with The Coniston Cold Hotel just 1 mile away. The hotel has a fully licensed bar, serving meals overlooking the lake in it's fine dining restaurant. The Land Rover Experience, shooting range with clay pigeon shooting and the falconry are all located there.At Green Grove Country House you are always assured of a friendly welcome, a comfortable room and excellent home-made cooking.Gluten free breakfast available.This is a non smoking and no pets establishment. From the North from M6 come off at junction 36 and onto the A65 towards Skipton. Stay on this road for 31 miles until you reach Coniston Cold. When you pass the Coniston Cold Hotel on your left, 500 yards take the next left towards Bell Busk, between the farmhouse and a barn. We are 34 miles on the leftOr from A1M come off at junction 47 and onto A59 towards Skipton. At Skipton follow A65 towards Kendal. After 6 miles you will reach Coniston Cold, take the right turn towards Bell Busk between the farmhouse and a barn. From the South come off M6 at junction 29 and join M65 towards Colne. At Colne follow A56 towards Skipton, after the Tempest Hotel then join A59 towards Skipton. At the roundabout take the left exit to A65 towards Kendal. After 6 miles you will reach Coniston Cold, take the right turn towards Bell Busk between the farmhouse and a barn.
